If you watched the NBA playoffs this year, you will recognize this man: The Birdman.
Anyway, it got me thinking about the WNBA and how certain stars deserve nicknames. In honor of the “Birdman,” there should be a WNBA counterpart.
Sue “Bird Lady” Bird. This does not warrant any explanation.
Becky “Bond Girl” Hammon. In the words of 007, from Russia with Love.
Candace “Knocked Up” Parker. Seth Rogen is actually a step up from Sheldon Williams.
Lauren “Down Under” Jackson. A 6’5 Aussie who posed in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Edition.
Lisa “101” Leslie. She still couldn’t even touch Sheryl Miller.
